Clause one: Applicability
1.
This notice is applicable with all voyages transportation for passengers and luggage among Hong Kong and all Guang Dong ports that Pearl River Shipping (Group) Co., Ltd. act as an agent.
2.
Passengers to be considered to accept all clauses of this notice when they buy or held the tickets that sold under this notice.
Clause two: Buying the tickets
1. Following the notice, passengers can buy the tickets by presenting valid passport, tourist certificates or valid visas.
2. Passengers over Five years old should pay for tickets for adult, Children over one year old and under five years old should pay for tickets for children. Every passenger is allowed to bring one infant under one year old to be board free of charge by presenting tickets for adult. No seats for infants being on board in this way. When the number of the infants exceeded the limit, tickets for children are required for the exceeded ones.
3. Tickets are valid only for the same voyage, the same line and the same date that the tickets showing, and they will become invalid if they are overdue.

When there was any passenger must return with the ferry for the reason that no entrance announced by the government, new tickets are required.
Clause Three: Being on board
1. Following the time and date showing on the tickets, passengers should arrive at the terminal one hours before the departure and follow the instruction of the guide in the port to transact the leaving procedure personally. Gate will be closed five minutes before the departure.
2. The carrier is entitled to refuse passengers to be on board, if they were bibulosity, with infectious disease, with serious disease, psychopath, or someone is recognized misbehaving.
3. A punishment fee of double price of the ticket for adult will effect when someone getting on board without the ticket. A punishment fee of HKD2,000 will effect when someone trying to use invalid tickets or imitation tickets. The right for legal action, we remain. Losing tickets, holding damaged tickets and children over one year old and under five year old not taking the tickets for children, passengers are requested to pay for new tickets. Children over five year old holding tickets for Children should pay for the balance.
4. When it is at the terminal or on board, passengers should follow the instruction from the employees or agents of the carrier.
Clauses Four: Ticket returning and amendment
1. To return a ticket, passengers are requested to go to Zhong Shan Port ticket center 48 hours before the departure for the transaction, and a fee of 40% of the ticket price will be deducted (Full amount of the departure taxes collected by the government of Hong Kong will be returned.). No returning is allowed in the 48 hours before the departure. However, passengers should go to the ticket center to getting the refund for the departure taxes collected by the government of Hong Kong, by presenting the ticket within one month after the departure time showing on the ticket. No refunds if the transaction is overdue.
2. Any consignments on luggage should be canceled or amended before the returning of the tickets.
3. When there is any delay or cancellation of voyages for the reason of force majeure or failure of the carrier, the carrier will make announcement at the ticket center, terminals by the date. Passengers should go to the ticket center to transact the returning procedure within one month after the departure time showing on the ticket, by presenting the ticket. Full amount of the ticket and taxes collected by the government of Hong Kong will be returned. Amendments for the tickets are also acceptable. No returning or amendments are allowed if the transaction is overdue.
Clauses Five: Limit on luggage
Every passenger taking the high-speed ferry (High Power Supported Ferry) can carry one luggage under 20 kgs (measurement under 0.1 CBM) free of charge. For the convenience during the trip, every passenger with a ticket is allowed to bring hand-carries under 4 kgs (measurement under 0.028 CBM) along with them. Luggage exceed above-mentioned limit should transact the consignment for transportation and pay for the fee, after it is approved by the carrier.
Clauses Six: Consignment
1. No consignment for the following items:
(1) Dangerous, duty, frangible items and animals.
(2) Valuable items, like gold, sliver and items concerned, currency, securities, jewelry, antique, cultural relic, etc.
(3) Worst packing items.
(4) Overload and over-measure items.
2. Procedures of consignment concerned should be done 30 minutes before the departure, or the carrier is entitled to refuse the consignment.
3. There are additional consignment fees for home electrical appliances, such as TV set, Washing machine, Hi-Fi, refrigerator, motorcycle, etc.
Clause seven: Items no allowed and punishment concerned
1. Items of Tinder or explosive or radioactivity or causticity or poison.
2. Items infected by disease or with terrible smell.
3. Items that may damage the ferry or luggage of the passengers.
4. Weapons and ammos.
5. Forbidden items of the custom and the government.
6. Birds or animals that may befoul the ferry.
7. Accident or loss if there is any, for the reason of disguise declaration during the consignment, should be responsible by the disguiser.
8. To avoid above-mentioned items being on board and to ensure the safety of the ferry and the passengers, the carrier and its agent is entitled to open passengers luggage for inspection. Passengers should follow the instruction and cooperation with the staff, or the carrier is entitled to refuse his/her to be on board.
9. Passengers should responsible for the loss if there is any, no matter it is to the ferry or passengers, for the reason that they carried items not allowed to carry or consign. For the safety of the ferry and passengers, the carrier is entitled to discharge or destroy above-mentioned items or to make it disenable, at any location and any time, without any obligation.
Clause Eight: Accident obligation and disclaimer
1. For the reason of force majeure, ferry malfunction or other unpredictable situations, the carrier will not be responsible for the detainment and delay caused by the interrupt, change of destination, delay and transshipment of the ferries. And no advanced notice will be issued for above-mentioned situations.
2. The carrier will not be responsible for any loss and damage of passengers¡¯ hand-carries, if the carrier does not cause the losses and damages.
3. The carrier will not be responsible for the death, injury, disease, etc, if the carrier does not cause them.
4. Passengers should be responsible for the damages of any equipment on the ferries, if they do cause the damages; no matter they are intentionally or not.
Clause Night Disclaimer for losses and damages of consignment
1. Force majeure.
2. Rot or damage due to the luggage.
3. Damage due to worst packing.
4. Failure of passengers.
5. Short of weight or quantity, but packing never opened.
Clause Ten: Indemnification for losses or damages of luggage caused by the carrier
1. Losses of luggage caused by the carrier should be indemnified by the carrier, according to the rate of HKD20 for per kg, with the highest indemnification of HKD600. Indemnification for damaged luggage to be consider according to the condition of the damage, and not higher than the highest indemnification.
2. To claim for the losses or damages, consigner should raise their request to the carrier or its agent within one month after the losses or damages. No claim when it is overdue. The carrier should send their result to the claimer within one month after the receipt of the request, even if the claim is refused.
Clause Eleven: Indemnification for the death or injury caused by the carrier
1. The carrier should indemnify for the death or injury for the reason of an accident or caused by the carrier, according to law and regulations concerned of the People Republic of China.
2. To claim for the death or injury for the reason of an accident or caused by the carrier, claimer should raise their request along with necessary certificates and information within one month after the accident. No claim when it is overdue.
Clause Twelve: All argument or indemnification concerning this notice is subject to the adjudication of the court of China. This notice is under the law of the People Republic of China.
This notice is issued by Pearl River Shipping (Group) Co., Ltd., under the consignment of the passenger transportation companies of all the ports in Guang Dong Province.
