Feb. 9, 1985, Zhong Shan passenger traffic port was opened to navigation traffic. At the same time, Zhong Shan-Hongkong passenger shipping CO-OP CO.,LTD.. was founded. The passenger transportation amount of this year is 211,665.

In 1996, set up free bus service between the port and Xiao Lan, Shi Qi, Ya Jun Le Garden, as well as Xing Chen Garden.

In Jul. 1, 1997, when it was the date for Hong Kong's regress, ferry Zhong Shan was in its great honor to carry president Jiang Ze Ming to attend the ceremony of Hong Kong's regress.

In Jul. 2, 1998, when it was the first anniversary of Hong Kong's regress, ferry Zhong Shan was in its great honor to carry president Jiang Ze Ming and Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administration Region of the P.R.C. Mr. Dong Jian Hua.

2001: August 18th,the project of night flight from Zhongshan to Hongkong is completed. The history of no night flight from Zhongshan to Hongkong is over from now on. In September,we bought into the "Xingzhong" Ship.It can load 368 seats.Its speed is 34 sea mile per hour.In October the 28th, our company will carry out the management system of selling tickets on computer.From now on,the history of selling tickets by man is over.

2002: May 28th,the project of night flight from Zhongshan to Hongkong is completed.The history of only night flight from Zhongshan to Hongkong but no night flight from Hongkong to Zhongshan is over.In 2002,passenger transport quantity is 1000106 people,break through 100 million people.
